Jason Yeo is a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with a diploma in Architectural Technologies and served as a volunteer firefighter and wildland firefighter in Alberta, and has appointed to the Fire Technical Sub-Council with the Safety Code Council in Alberta.

Jason started his career as a Code consultant in 2011 and quickly became well-known in the Alberta Architectural industry. He has presented at several seminars accredited by the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA) to architects and interior designers in Calgary and Edmonton.

Jason has a demonstrated history in the Alberta architectural industry having worked with owners, architects and interior designers from across North America on all varieties of building projects including a number of Western Canada’s recent acclaimed new buildings.

Code Consultant

Andrew Melissen is a code consultant and a registered Technologist in Training with ASET (Association of Science and Engineering Technologists of Alberta). Andrew brings a wealth of experience from the construction industry, both as a graduate of SAIT's Architectural Technologist program and having worked as a construction site assistant, providing him with a keen understanding of building design.

Committed to aiding clients in navigating code requirements, he presents various options aligning with building and fire code regulations. Andrew actively seeks cost-saving opportunities, demonstrating his commitment to delivering value and efficiency to clients.

Code Consultant

Kamaldeep Kaur is accredited as a Building Safety Code Officer Part 9 by the Alberta Safety Code Council. Having a degree of Master of Technology in Civil Engineering and work experience in construction-industry, she has in-depth knowledge of building design.

She consistently prioritizes understanding the clients’ needs to create a design that align their vision, working closely with them to achieve a solution that meets their desired outcome.

Office Administrator & Project Coordinator

Cora Staranchuk serves as the Office Administrator and Project Coordinator, supporting daily operations and project coordination across the firm. She holds a diploma in Administrative Information Management from SAIT and brings a strong foundation in office management and organizational support.

In addition to her administrative expertise, Cora holds Safety Training Certificates and assists with maintaining project documentation, record-keeping, scheduling, communication, and resource coordination. Her attention to detail and proactive approach help ensure projects run smoothly while providing reliable support to both the project team and clients.

Code Engineer

Milan Kohout is a Professional Engineer with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) and a Safety Codes Officer in the Fire discipline with the Safety Codes Council. Milan has extensive experience with a wide range of building projects from renovations to new designs.

He always focuses on clients' needs to clearly understand their desired design and works with them towards solution that meet their vision. The solutions might include not only the prescriptive requirements of the Building and Fire Code but also the alternative solutions that allow for cost savings and preserve desired designs proposed by clients.
